*Chained* Knitting Patterns

The knitting pattern creates textured chains that are even more obvious when using 2 colors of yarn.

Yarn:

1) Red Heart
2) Alize Lanagold Fine

Needles:

2.5 mm - US 1 1/2

Notions:

Marker (m), tapestry needle

Abbreviations:

k - knit
p - purl
k2tog - knit 2 together
kfb - knit 1 and knit 1 through the back loop, in the same stitch

Directions:

Cast-on an even number of stitches 

Row 1: knit across
Row 2: *k2tog; rep from*
Row 3: *kfb; rep from*
Row 4: purl across

Repeat rows: 1 - 4
