*Briolove Scarf* Brioche Knitting Patterns

Briolove is a brioche knitting pattern worked in brioche rib stitch. It is composed of 2 "hearts panels" on the sides and 1 "medallion panel" in the middle. And also on the sides of these panels and between them, 2 brioche knit columns that are zigzagging by repeating the hearts and medallions contours. In the chart all the panels are indicated so that in case you want to modify the pattern it would be easy to do it. In the first 10 minutes of the video I explain more detailed how to modify this chart and in general how to read my charts.

Directions:

With main color yarn cast-on:

If you want to knit a wrap or a blanket, just increase the number of repeats in the formula above.
Work row 1 with main color yarn. After that slide all stitches to the other end of the needles, join contrast color yarn and work row 2 with contrast color yarn.

Row 1 MC: k1, *sl1yo, k1; rep from *, sl1yo, sl1 wyif.

After each odd row slide stitches to other end of needles, pick-up contrast color yarn and knit the even row.
After each even row turn work, pick-up main color yarn and knit the odd row.

  4. Thank you for this - especially for the YouTube tutorial. I am a virgin to Brioche and this is my first project learning this new technique. In following along with the chart and your video I noticed a few errors in chart for Row 17 - the written instructions are correct and your video matches those. All stitches except for the selvedge stitches on the edges and the brioche left slant decrease in the middle should be slip 1 pwise with yon and brioche knit alternating. The chart has a few of those symbols in the wrong order.
