*Peacock's tail* Knitting Patterns

There are so many variations of this pattern, maybe as many as peacock's tails :) This version is a very simple one, because there is only one row to remember, the other 3 rows of the repeat you just purl all the stitches.

Yarn:

DK Weight

Needles:

2.5 mm - US 1 1/2

Abbreviations:

k - knit
p - purl
yo - yarn over
k2tog - knit 2 together

Directions:

Cast-on a multiple of 18
 
Row 1: *[k2tog] 3 times, [k1, yo] 6 times, [k2tog] 3 times; rep from*
Row 2, 3, 4: purl across

Repeat rows 1 - 4 until reached the desired length
