If you like this motif, it is also used in the the Peacock Shawl pattern.
For beginners that like the peacock feather motif but don't feel adventurous enough to knit the Peacock Shawl I recommend to start with the Peacock Scarf.

After the last round cut the contrast color yarn leaving a palm's length of tail and inserting it to the wrong side of the hat. Then pick-up the main color yarn, brk1, slip the stitch from the right hand needle to the left hand needle and afterwards slip one by one all the remaining stitches over this stitch. Cut the yarn leaving a tail that you pass through the only stitch on the needle and pull on it to tighten the stitch around the yarn end. Weave in the ends.
Is there a downloadable pattern for the hat? (Not just the chart).
